INTRO
So small milestone this week, Ymir hit 20 subscribers! It took about a year to get to this point. I wish I'd hit faster, but I'm growing, and I'm grateful for that!
Overall, this was a really productive cycle. I had a lot of energy and wasn't feeling too worn out. I got a lot done on the product side as well as marketing side, which isn't always the case.
We'll discuss that in the sections below.
PRODUCT
You can always view the history of Ymir's product development at https://ymirapp.com/changelog.
This cycle I continued to work on the Ymir CLI. I implemented a lot of the left over quality of life changes. I added some new commands to export and import databases. I also added some other commands.
I think this will wrap up my focus on the Ymir CLI for now. I think this cycle will be more the runtime and plugin. But we'll see how it goes!
MARKETING
The main focus for the marketing week was videos. I hadn't tried making a video since I upgraded to an M1 MBP. And wow is it fast!

I went from having to spend 2h with an unusable computer to recording and having the video uploaded in less than 30 min. This makes it much more appealing to make videos. And this week, I did three:
I think I'll start recording a lot of the commands and just various programming things. I got a lot of good comments from doing the videos. And, like I said, it's painless to do them now.
I also started working on the next article. I'm aiming to publish it next marketing week.
BUSINESS
You can always view Ymir's up-to-date business metrics at ymirapp.com/open. They're updated every 10 minutes.
As I said, I hit 20 subscribers! Yay! Currently, I have one active trial. Pretty that one will convert so we should hit 21 subscribers next cycle.
I've had some more inbound interest. So maybe we get a new trial from that soon? We'll see.
Outside of that, the next milestone will be 1k MRR. I don't expect to hit it before April. And that's if nothing goes wrong lol

Heya friend! Carl here. You signed up to receive updates about Ymir, the WordPress serverless DevOps platform that I’m building. INTRO It's been a busy month for me with Ymir and consulting! The most exciting thing is that Ymir sponsored its first WordCamp! 🥳 It was a cool milestone for me and I need to put it on the open dashboard when I have a moment. Laravel support is progressing at a good pace. I've wrapped up the refactoring of the deployment code. It was a huge undertaking and involved...
Heya friend! Carl here. You signed up to receive updates about Ymir, the WordPress serverless DevOps platform that I’m building. INTRO I'm back from 2 months of pretty intense travelling. If we add the other life events that I discussed in the previous report, it's been quite busy for me personally. I worked on Ymir some, but I didn't have the time to sit down to write my report. That said, there's a good chance I'm done travelling for the year. I was just at WCEU, but I don't plan on going...
Heya friend! Carl here. You signed up to receive updates about Ymir, the WordPress serverless DevOps platform that I’m building. INTRO It's been a longer than I'd liked since the last update. Unfortunately, I had someone close to me pass away two weeks ago. They were in their 30s, and it was unexpected. I'll talk more about it when I do my year in review. I spent a lot of time the past two weeks with their family. The time I had left, I used to work for consulting clients. So there hasn't...
