Ymir Report #74 β First case study π₯³
|
Heya friend! Carl here. You signed up to receive updates about Ymir, the WordPress serverless DevOps platform that Iβm building. INTRO Heya! I did it! I have my first case study π₯³ Otherwise, I had a good time at WordCamp Europe. I had some good discussions there about the state of the hosting industry. They make me feel good about the long-term viability of Ymir, but doesn't really help in the short run. There hasn't been a lot of movement on the product this month. I came from Europe with COVID. π· I'm still sick and quite low on energy. The little energy I had, I used to write the case study. PRODUCT You can always view the history of Ymir's product development at https://ymirapp.com/changelog. I have a few things I want to work on, but haven't had the time with travel and now COVID. Once I start feeling better, I have some consulting work to wrap up. So no movement on the product this month. MARKETING Ok, so I did it! I have something marketing for this section this time π€£ I want to thank Ryan for giving me all the details and agreeing to let me do the case study. π βEmpowering Growth: JOE Media Groupβs Strategic Shift with Ymir >>β I've also done some social media posts. One is on LinkedIn and the other on Twitter/X. If you could share it, that would be great! π BUSINESS You can always view Ymir's up-to-date business metrics at ymirapp.com/open. They're updated every 10 minutes. Business is doing ok this month. I had a lot of trials. A few converted to paid, and I didn't churn that many people. So we're trending up a bit again. Let's see how things go in July now. π Carl |

Heya friend! Carl here. You signed up to receive updates about Ymir, the WordPress serverless DevOps platform that Iβm building. INTRO Things have been moving a lot since the Jason podcast. I've been trying to maintain momentum since then. I'm grateful to AI because I'm juggling a lot of things right now. π I'd been working on a redesign for Ymir. That launched last week for the marketing site. I still have to do the blog and the documentation site. I'm still adding pages and fleshing things...
Heya friend! Carl here. You signed up to receive updates about Ymir, the WordPress & PHP serverless DevOps platform that Iβm building. INTRO A bit of a delay for this report. My dad was in the hospital last week, and I spent a lot of time there. Luckily, he's doing a lot better now. π It did impact things. I didn't work on Ymir as much, even though it's the only thing I have going right now. That said, this created enough of a delay that the podcast I recorded with Jason Cohen is out now!...
Heya friend! Carl here. You signed up to receive updates about Ymir, the WordPress serverless DevOps platform that Iβm building. INTRO Big update today! I recorded the podcast with Jason Cohen last week. (It's not out yet since there's a backlog.) It wasn't a pleasant experience, but we came out of the 3h session with a game plan! That game plan is: Ymir for Agencies The old pricing page is now gone. The $39/month plan is gone. I've removed all the self-serve ways to upgrade your plan. I'll...
